: Hagstrom 72 is the way to go for this setup im guessing..Anybody want to comment?

: (1P) joystick, 6 buttons 10
: (2P) joystick, 6 buttons 10
: (3P) Joystick, 3 buttons 7
: (4P) Joystick, 3 Buttons 7
: 1 spinner---\ ?
: 1 Trackball-/-----SHares 2 buttons ?

: plan is to make the spot for the trackball a DROP in
: unit that can be swapped with a 4way Joystick ( packman, etc..) or a Steering Wheel ( i think i have an idea for this), and maybe a Tron type setup.

: The I-Pac wouldnt have enough for all this would it? I know there are 28 inputs and it has the shirt function,
: the 4 player im really looking for is actually robtron, smash TV 2 player ( hence the 4 joysticks...but Guantlet may be fun 4 player, so im thinking maybe just to be safe i need the Hagstrom 72 ( it also has the trackball interface and such)

I could be wrong but I think you could daisy chain two I-Pac's together. To play games like NBA JAM you need 4 joysticks and 3 buttons a person, that would make 28 inputs. Robotron only uses 2 joysticks, so im not sure where you are going there.

: anybody with a setup something like mine planned or actually done?

: Going to use Lucids plans ( pretty much, may make the control panel a few inchs wider to handle all the controls..

Remember if you go wider to make it small enough to go through a doorway if you ever want to move it.

: Sorry for so many questions but im actually building the machine and dont want to make to many mistakes.

: thanks

Well I hope I helped a little.

GAME ON!
