: Faded, I don't have any dimensions off-hand for those cocktail cabinets. I would've referred to you Lanie's Arcade Machine, but never mind...

: About your earlier (and this) trackball inquiry: If you're looking for the pinouts for a serial port, you can find them here: http://www.hwb.acc.umu.se/menu_Connector.html .

: As far as power goes, what kind of trackball is it? I know that the Happ Controls trackball does not require any additional power supply. Their trackball interface kit does, but not the trackball itself. See here for more details: http://www.happcontrols.com/amusement/trackballs/56100000.htm .

Thanks. I checked the pinout site and found information on the atari 2600 & 7800 joystick conectors. The trackball is for Atari 8-bit consoles (doesn't say specifically 2600) so I have assumed it has the 7800 plug and the 7th wire is for the second fire button. I will wire this directly to my I-Pac. Do you know if an arcade trackball would have an analog or digital output - ie should the cursor move faster if the ball is moved faster, or are you just indicating the direction of movement?

Thanks
