In answer to your question. I want to be able to swap any of about a half dozen different control panels I have from various arcade games.(Depending on what game I want to play). When I said I wanted to build each control panel into it's own box, I wasn't referring to anything huge. I just need to encase all the components.
I'll probably end up experimenting with various mouse hacks, but really need to find out how to go about figuring out the Atari Millipede trackball pinouts.
