: Hi,
: I haven't seen this myself - but I'll check it out for the next release.
: I haven't even downloaded 0.35 yet as I'm travelling on business at the moment.

I'm going to try my older version of AOS and see if it still works...

: Yep - ArcadeOS writes to MAME.CFG - it's to avoid problems with the command line getting too long.
: Especially running under pure DOS.

Ah... makes sense. I'd try and debug it, but I don't have enough disk space on my DOS partition to instal DJGPP.

: As for mailing lists etc. -
: I haven't setup anything like that.

: Does anybody want something like this ?
: or an
: ArcadeOS message board ??

Personally, I don't mind using this board. It makes my life easier 'cause I can just look at one board. And since you hang out on this board, that's a good source of info, too. :) I guess it depends on what the rest of the guys think. There have been a few AOS posts lately, but not an overwhelming number to warrant it's own board, IMHO. Maybe just add a pointer off the AOS home page to post questions here.

BTW, I would like to compliment you on the front end. It's one of the best DOS-base front ends I've tried. I like the UI. I can't stand even having Windows near my machine. :) Once I get it working again, I'll be a lot happier.
