Actually, you're right on - terminal blocks are the way to go. While you CAN solder more than one wire to a solder point, it's much easier to just do it this way: Solder a single wire to the solder point on the keyboard PCB, and attach the other end of the wire to a terminal on a terminal block. Then, on the other end of the terminal block, you can run off multiple wires if you want.

Actually, let me bust out my l33t Photoshop skillz here for a moment. (AND DON'T LAUGH AT THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE, DAMMIT!) This is using your example of having one button on 2,14 and another button on 6,14. As you can see here, you would only have to solder one wire onto contact 14, and then you could split it off at the terminal block.
