Hey all-

Thanks very much for your help and suggestions scotto, The Man and Tom61. I've been mucking with my cab for the last week, and I've made a bit of progress. It does look like the monitor isn't getting any video. I tried replacing the fuse, and that didn't help at all. I still haven't checked the monitor pcb for cracks, but I plan on doing that.

One good sign that I've encountered is that the monitor isn't blank anymore. It's displaying black with a few lines through it now. Those lines don't change when the game is being played.. the only time they change is when I'm fiddling with the hor/vert sync and/or position.

I've also noticed that if I turn the Horizontal sync up or down while the cabinet is on, the whine of the monitor raises or lowers pitch accordingly. Not sure if that's a common thing monitors do when not getting a signal, or whatnot.

Anyways, I'm pressing on. Hopefully sometime this weekend I'll be able to borrow my friend's multi-meter.. (mine's on the fritz right now) and see if there is any signal being transmitted to the monitor. (here's hoping there isn't.. don't feel like buying a new 25 inch WG arcade monitor)

Thanks again.
