I did this to my cab (black laminate) and it looks great EXCEPT the cab is now much thicker than it used to be (laminate/wood/laminate sandwich vs paint/wood/paint) and t-molding looks a little funny. I doubt anyone other than me ever notices but I am wondering if you did anything special to yours.
