I believe the hotrod's use Happ Super Joysticks, I found when I first set up my cabinet and tried four way games like Donkey kong and Ms Pacman and this would happen I found flipping the actuator on the bottom of the joystick fixed the problem and it worked fine ever since. If you search this board there have been discussions about switching Supers from 8 to 4 way mode and vice versa. I believe when the larger end of the actuator is towards the bottom it is 4 way and when the small end is towards the bottom it is in 8 way mode, this is how I set mine up and it works great for 4 and 8 way games. It is the thing at the bottom of the picture just above the e-clip. I hope this will help you. Good luck!

: my hotrod se gets "stuck" in certain directions while playing.

: for example, sometimes it'll get stuck to the right and keep moving that way even if i take my hand off the joystick.

: it does this on player 1 and 2's side. it also does it in pure dos as well as windows.

: i've disabled hotkeys in windows, and i've tried it with multiple keyboards.

: i have a dell computer.

: i've returned my hotrod se and received a replacement--it does the same thing.

: does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing the hotrod to do this? it's frustrating.

: thanks.
