: OK, I can't imagine that what I'm wanting to do here is rocket science. I've already got my cabinet wired with two lightswitches (like you turn on a light in your house with. The top switch turns on the marquee. The bottom switch turns on the power strip inside the control panel.

: There HAS to be some way that turning on that power switch would turn on the ATX mobo too. I suppose I "COULD" make a happ button to turn it on but that seems like a kludgy solution (or, at the very least, one I didn't account for in my design) so all you electricians out there, put your thinking caps on. Couldn't I find some kind of momentary relay that would trigger when I turn on the power switch and I could feed that signal into the mobo?

There IS A WAY!!!! Your're going about it backwards though. You need to wire a 12vdc/120v relay to a spare 12v harddrive plug from your ATX power supply; connect this to a power strip. Wire a momentary switch ( like a Happs microswitch pushbutton ) in place of the on/off switch on the case. Plug your accessories into the power strip, plug the computer straight into the wall, push the microswitch pushbutton and viola...your computer and all the accessories start up at the same time! Like I said, if this is confusing e-mail me and I'll send you a diagram or something.
