An easy way to do this is to take a look at the switch on your computer case. You could remove it and wire longer wires and put the switch where ever you need it. The only problem I see with this is if you have an ATX style power supply because that uses a "smart" momentary switch instead of a SPST style switch.

Can anyone clarify this?

: I know there are lots of helpful minds out there. I'm looking for a clever way to turn on a PC that's INSIDE a cabinet.

: I don't want players to have to open the coin door and reach in to power it up.

: I don't have the technical expertise needed to build the special circut (from PC2JAMMA) allowing the cabinet and PC to be turned on at the same time.

: What have some of you done?
