Im not sure if this would work but it does seem to me it would. However, there is a problem with your logic. The truth table for a NAND gate is as follows: 1&1=0 1&0=1 0&1=1 0&0=1 therefore, if neither switch was made you would get an output which you do not want. I am working on the correct logic and a wirring diagram and will let you know as soon as Im finished. Thanks!
