It's not a switch. It's a part that connects to the shaft. If you disassemble the entire stick and turn the actuator upside doen you get 4 way control because it basically blocks diagonals. It's not a simple matter of flicking a switch.

Also, in my experience using Supers in my homemade project as well as on my ArcadePC's HotRod, Super's perform very well on 4-way games even in 8-way mode. They're very precise sticks.

: Is there anyone out there, who owns a HotRod jotstick, able to find/use the so-called "Actuator" switch to convert the joysticks from 8-way to 4-way. (I believe that they are Happs Suppers and according to Happs web site, there is some switch to convert them)
