Thanks, I did some homework on the web and came to the same conclusion.

I traded some emails with Bob Roberts, he suggested that if I need a whole new chassis, then I might as well get a new tube to go with it for not much more. That got me thinking, currently, I want to use my cabinet for PCBs only, but eventually I want to perform the PC2JAMMA conversion on it for MAME.

So, with that in mind, is the Wells-Gartner K7400 the right (best) monitor for the job, or is there a better choice out there? Keep in mind that after the PC2JAMMA conversion has completed, I still want to be able to use PCBs in it without an adapter.

: : Anyhow, it looks as though the metal frame :(chassis?)

: Chassis is correct.

: : that secures the monitor is missing a board as :there are 4 or so wires coming from the neck/yoke :(which is it?) of the monitor.

: The four wires coming from the yoke are red/blue
: for horz deflection and green/yellow for vertical
: deflection. These should plug into the main
: (only?) board.
