CP extension a possibility; how big is mounting area for each a trackball and a spinner?

hi guys. gotta save space and the MAME cab STILL isn't done yet so i figured i can still add extras. will be adding a forward extension to my fabulous (thanks to jh) CP. either a spinner alone, or both spinner and trackball.

need to know, including the respective circuit boards and whatnot, how big an area a trackball and a spinner take up, and how close to each other they can be mounted on the panel.
