Spoke with WG tech support and asked some more questions about this monitor. It would be very easy to build a relay circuit to switch the monitor from VGA to CGA/EGA. The jumper is low (video) voltage, unlike the U5000's jumper that is yoke and high voltage (5 lines of high voltage). I was concerned about the different CRT used. This monitor has a Dot trio spacing like a standard VGA monitor, where the U3000 has a striped spacing. Tech support said that the D9200 has a better picture than the striped trio spacing monitors. This monitor may be the best monitor yet for MAME cabinets. It seems to be a combination of the best of both arcade and VGA.
