I think that using a yoke w/pots would be best for the games that originally used them (Star Wars, Paperboy, Hydra, etc.).
Kinda on the subject, I recently bought a Hang-on control panel and I'm going to try converting it for PC use for emulators and even newer games like Motoracer and Motocross Madness.
There just seems like so much stuff w/controllers to try!
