I'm using 12Vdc light for my coin door light.... I just put an extension on the PC power supply and used that. It works great. There are 12V and 5V leads on each PC power supply line. I just looked at which was which on a hard drive that had them marked and used the 12v lines.... works just dandy.

: ok, this question is for you electronic experts. I've been trying to come up with a good way to wire my coin door lights. I've got the Happ serial port trackball interface with the power supply. The power supply is a 5 volt 1000ma typical power adapter. Is there a way I can split this so that it provides enough power to the trackball interface and enough to light up the three coin lights? How would I do this? I don't want to overload the supply, but it would be nice if I could make it serve a dual purpose.

: Thanks
