Assuming it is a multisync and not an old fixed frequency then crossing the pins should work. Mac monitor to Pc adaptor cost me $15 locally but I'm sure they are cheaper on the net if you can find them. Ebay might be a good place to look because an adaptor comes with Mac G3s and probably G4s as well and lots of people have no use for theirs.
: Can anyone tell me what I have to do to use a Mac monitor with a PC. The Mac plug is 15 pin d-sub type (2 rows of pins). I found pin outs for it and for VGA can I just make an adapter to cross the pins? CompUSA sells a Mac to PC adapter for monitors but it has other controlls to adjust color, do I need this or will just crossing the pins work. Thanks in advance for the help,

: Odie
