I have tested out other games and played music. The speakers work great with everything EXCEPT MAME. I am really bumm'n because the games sound great with the subwoofer (especially Mad Planets). But I don't want to have to opent the cab everytime to adjust the input on the subwoofer. And this is the second set I tested. I thought the speakers were the problem the first time and sent them back. Thanks again for your help...Ken

: Have you tested this new sytem out playing other games and or music? to be sure its not defective?

: What sound card do you have?

: Do all other games and music work fine with your new speakers?

: things to check. and let us know.

: : Hi Guys-
: : I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem that I am having with my speakers. I recently upgraded my speakers from a 30w set (2 satellite and one sub) to an 80w set (same 3 pc configuration). They are both Yamaha. The first set worked fine, but the new ones only send sound to the satellites when the cord is fully inserted into the subwoofer. If I pull the cord half way out, then I get sound to the sub, but to only one satellite. It sounds like a mono-stereo problem to me, but I don't know how to solve the problem. I have the default options in MAME set to stereo and I am not sure of the make of the sound card. Please let me know whats up! Thanks.
