: Well, for one thing there's no way you have a 1024x768 mode at 15.7khz. Something is wrong here... Did you add those in yourself to mame.cfg? If so, erase them and use mv to add modes there. Just hit spacebar and highlight modes you want (after testing them for scan compatability) then exit and hit Y to save them. Then AdvMAME will use them. : Run mv again, and try some smaller resolutions and add them. It's kinda hard to give advice because it works so differently depending on the hardware you use. : In mv, it'll show the scan rates h & v for each mode, and the enabled modes will be highlighted. You want to enable some modes that match your tv-out, so 60 and 15.7 etc. : Also, if a mode works on your TV in mv, then it MUST also work in AdvMAME. Are you using the latest builds? 37 beta 9. Once you do get things sorted out, you can try playing around with making unique customized modes etc., though again it greatly depends on your graphics card as to what's possible. : Good luck. : -P- : : : I know I'm being a pain about this, but I've read all the archives dealing with advanced mame, read the contributions in the folder, and the example cfg. files but I'm still having trouble. I got the mv.exe program to display on my t.v. and got the list of displays that I can test. I saved a couple and tried running advanced mame. Well I tried running pacman just to see what happens and the screen was HUGE! I was only getting about a quarter of the screen. I tried going into tab and changing the resolution, but there wasn't anything on the menu to let me do that. Am I just missing a step?
