Just curious, what values did you place in mame.cfg for the scan range? For example:

hclock = 30-52
vclock = 50-120
You must have that section correctly done first! I believe there are examples in the contribs that you can try for a TV.
Kinda tired and really haven't had personal experience using Advance MAME on a TV so... sorry if I'm not being helpful at all.

: When i entered the t.v.'s h res and v res and tried to run mv.exe to see how the different resolutions looked, I got an error all the time saying that the resolutions were out of the range of the hardware I'm using.
: Can I not test advanced mame using a laptop since the computer is sending the display to the laptop monitor instead of the t.v. screen so I can't check the proper resolutions on the t.v.??? If so, how can I do this? Is there a way to tell the computer to send the monitor output to the t.v. and not the laptop screen?
