Ok, I was trying to play around with advanced mame with my laptop and s-video to my 25 inch t.v.
When i entered the t.v.'s h res and v res and tried to run mv.exe to see how the different resolutions looked, I got an error all the time saying that the resolutions were out of the range of the hardware I'm using.
Can I not test advanced mame using a laptop since the computer is sending the display to the laptop monitor instead of the t.v. screen so I can't check the proper resolutions on the t.v.??? If so, how can I do this? Is there a way to tell the computer to send the monitor output to the t.v. and not the laptop screen?
