I'm not quite a regular...but I'm working on it!!
I'm a Unix systems analyst by day. I'm building my own cabinet from scratch, and I walked into this having zero woodworking experience. I've built PCs before, but I've never done anything like this. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm pretty much living proof that this wacky project CAN be done by someone with no experience...especially given the wealth of knowledge that can be found by the fine folks on this board.
I know that I might be getting a bit soft on y'all, but I have NEVER seen a message board that consists of people of this caliber. The mutual respect that everyone here has for each other (and the willingness that everyone has to help each other) is truly remarkable. We really are lucky. And we are also in debt to Saint for this site!
