Why not buy a 27" WG D9200 instead of the U3000?

I called Wells Gardner yesterday to order a 27" U3000 (~$700) and the salesperson asked me to look at the specs for the D9200 which also accepts VGA input but costs < $450. I looked things over and I can't see any difference so I'm about to go with it. Am I missing something here?
