Just kidding, there was a great educational DOS game called "Challenge of the Ancient Empires". It's basically a platform/adventure game but uses logic and math skills in addition to eye-hand coordination. It was put out in 1990 by The Learning Company. They also put out a game called Midnight Rescue, which had similar gameplay but was a bit easier and geared toward younger kids. Good luck finding them...
