I know that some older Electrohome, and Wells Gardner monitors required an Isolation Transformer!
I had to get one for an old WG monitor and then later used it for a Electrohome!
I believe that most people don't run into this because they use the original CAB. wiring!
I didn't reealize that the Electrohome monitor needed one until I took it out of my Asteroids Dlx. CAB!

It's simple two inputs two outputs, ground is the chassie.

: I consider myself to be fairly knowledgable about general electronics, but I had never heard of an isolation transformer until recently.
: I bought a used cabinet and monitor, and the seller said the monitor's power supply wasn't working. I've decided that it may need a new transformer.
: Can I just take the 120 VAC from the wall into one winding and have 120 VAC coming out to the monitor through the other winding? What do I do with the grounding wire? Do I need any fuses or capacitors?
