Tim! You are the goods! The card I was using before was a generic card out of a compaq machine (Cirrus Chip, I believe)and I didn't have any problems. I'm quite a newbie at this so you'll have to forgive me. I figured you were out of town.

Thanks for your help!!

Doug
: OK,

: I looked at your page, and I believe I have the answer. You are using a GO7 monitor. These monitors are VERY sensitive to Sync amplitute (voltage) and do not work well with most arcade boards, much less tweaked PC cards. There are links to lots of fixes on the net for this problem. I suspect that the sync output on your previous card is slightly less then the output on the Blade 3d, causing your sync problem. ( I have had this problem with a GO7 myself.) Newer monitors, such as the WGK7000's and etc, are immune to this problem.

: The fix? You can use a sync combiner, or use diodes across the sync pins to drop the sync level. I have a paper with the HOW-TO for this, but no URL. I will try to scan it in tonight and send it to you.

: Tim
