In Reply to: Thanks, but that didn't help (same thing, even with your mouse driver) :'( (n/t) posted by PacFan on 26, 2000 at 6:26 PM:

I always assume that everybody still are running pure DOS just because I do (on my cabinet). My mouse driver woun't help under Win9x. You have to go to Settings | Control Panel | Mouse and find an option to turn off mouse accelleration if you are in Windows... It could also be something else but it sounds like a mouse accelleration problem...

: : You have to turn mouse accelleration off. Performance is also different with different mouse drivers. My SUZO trackball with Opti-PAC interface performed really bad with the Cute Mouse driver but works perfectly with an old MS Mouse driver (with no accelleration option at all).

: : I mail my driver to you...

: : : Hello:

: : : I am using Flutra's Spinner, connected to a Hagstrom KE72T. When I use a game that has a spinner (Arkanoid), no matter how slowly I spin it, the player on the screen screen jumps 4 or 5 pixels at a time. It is not smooth whatsoever. I've tried a different type of spinner, and get the same results. Although, when I had a Happs trackball interface, it *was* smooth - connected to the same spinner.
: : : I've tried playing with the sensitivity settings in MAME, but I can't seem to get to move smoothly. I really would appreciate and help that anyone can give me. Thanks is advance! :)
