I am a project manager for Sabre, an IT development and outsourcing company. (You've probably heard of travelocity.com, but we also make reservation systems, flight scheduling applications, and just about any other high-tech application needed by an airline.)

I plan out the development work that needs to occur for a given system, and help test said system. (I'm a frustrated hack.)

As far as electronics go, I'm just trying not to kill myself.

And I'm 30.

:I've been impressed by the technical expertise of the contributors of this board. I was wondering...what's YOUR background? I mean, Saint - what do you do for a living? Or Andy Desak, Xiaou2, TwistyGrip, Tom61?, etc. Ok, so it's a little nosey but where did you get such expertise? It seems you'd need a degree in electrical engineering to figure out some of this stuff! Anyone?
