Yes it works with MAME32 with both DirectSound and Midas. I've got the Roland ED UA-30 soundcard that uses the generic Windows USB speaker driver and it sounds great. I'm almost 100% positive it wouldn't work at all with DOS MAME, however...I can't even get my PCI non-legacy card working well with DOS. Also, I don't think any DOS applications are capable of supporting USB audio.
