I've been messing around with my new Trident Blade 3D card and I guess I'm a little confused. I was using a compaq (Cirrus chip) card and haven't had any real problems but when I saw that you could run windows with this new card I jumped at the chance to buy one.

Currently I'm using the latest ArcadeOS and the latest Advance Mame. When I swapped out the new card the screen was all out of wack and any adjusting I did on the back of the monitor couldn't correct this (BTW I have an arcade monitor that came out of an old Dig Dug machine). I screwed around with the Blade15.exe utility but couldn't get a clear Windows desktop on my arcade monitor either. I wasn't using VSYNC mame before but I found the instructions difficult to understand, does this take the place of my MAME exe like Advance MAME does? I am using a hacked monitor cable with RGB and the Vsync and Hsync twisted together, could this be my problem? Maybe someone could send me their cfg files...

I am currently back to my old card with no problems (other than the usual)

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
