hi, i intend to build two joysticks for my pc.
but i have stumbled on a few questions, and i would like to have them clarified before i commence building.
firstly, i have heard that if i want to have two joysticks connected to a PC, the maximum number of buttons allocated for each joystick is 2. so does that mean i have to forget about the joystick port if i want each player to have 4 buttons?
can i just get another joystick port so i can have more buttons? (personally i don't want to hack a keyboard... seems like a lot of work) or is that out of the question?
second question is related to the first one. now i have seem the pin config for a joystick port, only 4 buttons max. now i have read somewhere u can use the second player's axial lines (x2 and y2 lines) as inputs for 2 more buttons. can that be done? if so... how do i do it?
thanx for the tip
