Some DOS games don't like it when a joystick/pad is plugged into the game port, try unplugging anything attached to the game port.
: I have just downloaded Space Harrier, and when I run it in Dos, the character always is moving right. I cannot move it any other way. Yet when I load it up in Mame32, It works. BTW, I am Using The Keyboard.
