My cabinet is an old Moon Patrol cab and the coin door is hinged. Isn't the Happs door hinged? I use mine to access the CD ROM and to unclip the control panel that is hinged on the bottom. I like the front access so I don't have to screw around the back of my cab and accidentally get zapped by my 1980 arcade monitor!!

: Ok, so now I'm trying to figure out if I want to hinge the front panel of my cabinet where the coin door is going. I've got a 4 player coin door so I've got a pretty big opening to reach inside. My concern is that I'm going to be changing out cd's depending on if I'm playing MAME games or PC games. The only other time I would need to reach inside is to unclamp the control panel which I would be able to do without any problems. My question is, how many of you have a hinged front panel? Is it necessary or could I get away with just a permanent front panel? I have an access panel in the rear too. What do ya think?
