Decrease your shutter speed

The next lower shutter speed should be enough to get the whole screen, since you can still see a bit of the black bar's contents. If you went much slower than that, all you'll see is a white screen.

: Just wondering if anyone knows the ideal settings on a 35mm fully adjustable camera for taking pictures of the monitor and whatnot on arcade cabinets. Whenever I take them, as evident by the picture below) their is a black line across half of the screen (I assume this is because of the refresh rates). Any ideas?
