$100 is a little steep for an adapter, but if you don't have the skills and/or patience to make your own, then you've got to pay. However, I think there's some cheaper adapters out there. You might want to post a message on rec.games.video.arcade.collecting. Instructions for making your own are at http://www.spies.com/arcade/conversion/Joust_to_JAMMA.txt

: As some of you may know I recently bought an arcade and am anxious to get some more classics in it. I have quite a few games that really are not producing very well and plan on using them to house some of everyones old favorites. Here is my question, if I have a cabinet and a monitor how hard is it to wire it up to play Robotron for instance. I have found a source for a complete working Robotron PCB and for an extra $100 it comes with an adapter for using it in a Jamma equipt cabinet (all mine are) is it worth the money or just as easy to do it myself??? I have the same plan for Joust, Frogger and Centipede. All opinions welcome.
