If you are talking about the scan lines select Tools\Configure Default Game Settings and enable scan lines. You also have the option of turning this on and of on (like what is on the Default Settings screen) for each game. You will find that screen under the Game Settings tab (when a game is highlighted) and removing the check from Use default settings for...
