Keep this in mind; I have never taken an electronics class of any kind. I have created two spinners the first spinner uses the x-axis and the second y-axis uses the optical sensors from another mouse.

My question is this… I would like to create a steering wheel, but would need a switch to change the six wires (I think it was 6) from the y axis of spinner two to look at another 6 wire set from another mouse y axis optical sensors:

Y axis from another board:
Wire 1
Wire 2
Main Mouse ____Wire 3
Y Axis: | Wire 4
Wire 1 | Wire 5
Wire 2 | Wire 6
Wire 3 _________|
Wire 4 |
Wire 5 | Wire 1
Wire 6 | Wire 2
|___Wire 3
Wire 4
Wire 5
Wire 6
2nd Y axis from another board:

I already have 2 spinners and 2 trackballs on my control panel, so this is really my only option. I need to take the 6 wires from the optical sensors of separate mouse and put in some sort of inline switch to change what optical sensors its using for the input. This would have to be a manual switch and I could build it with 6 switches. I was just hoping one of you guys could help me build one with just one switch.

Any help would be great... Thanks :)

Kelly
