In my experience no TV (unless it has european scart input I imagine) can come near an arcade display. Even svideo will bleed colors, making things blurrier than they ought to be. If you're a real game nut and want the best display, getting a good arcade monitor or nice big PC display is worth the money - you only live once.

: Can someone who has tried both give me a good comparison between an arcade monitor and a tv w/s-video for a MAME display. I've got an ATI Rage Fury w/s-video that I've hooked up to a 32" Toshiba, and while it's generally alright, I think it still leaves a lot to be desired, especially with DOS text. I'd like to know how a 27" or so Happ or WG arcade monitor compares as far as display quality, display modes & general ease of use. Thanks.
