This is a little unrelated, but I have a u3100. I use Magic engine [tg16], UltraHLE and bleem! emulators on my machine and it is just perfect. instead of using the actual console, you may just want to run an emulator to play them. It would save alot of work.
As for the dreamcast - no emu yet, but as close as it is internally to PC [windows CE OS] it will be easier porrted that the N64 is!
