Just wanted to let everyone know I'm working on the message board tonight. Rather than just lop off half of it, I'm reading the entire thing backwards, and "data mining" the good technical stuff. Information mined (and there's a bunch of it, you guys are amazing) will go into the FAQ.
Right now it's 239 KB for the main message page. I'm shooting for about 100 KB or maybe a bit more? I'm on a cable modem so don't have a great feel for if things are too slow - someone on a 56KB modem please let me know if the board starts taking too long to load again? (Thanks Tom :) )
