I have still a v-stick. The different colored buttons on my v-stick have each a different feel.
I like the softer white buttons best. I don't have a problem with missing a click and for playing games like galaga it is the only way to go.
The blue buttons on the panel are a bit harder but also ok.
But the red ones are very noticeble harder and I did not like them...I tried avoiding to use them.
just a opinion ;-)

: Hi all,
: I'm looking at possibly altering my source for pushbuttons (e.g. NOT Happs!!), and interested in your preference of button feel as it may help me decide which way to go.
: Do you like a firmly sprung button that requires a little more effort to press and requires a deliberate 'hit', or prefer a button with a softer spring that engages with a very light touch?
: To me, the harder button would offer very positive feedback that it has 'clicked' but possibly tire your fingers/hand quickly, making gameplay for long periods of time uncomfortable.
: On the other hand (no pun intended!), a softer button can be a little too sensitive and vague in its feedback, which would probably annoy many gamers as they'd end up with accidental button presses at the wrong moment!
: Up until recently I honestly thought that buttons were buttons, but in testing a sample of 'Brand X' buttons(I won't name the company yet) I've found that the springs in them are much harder that in any of the Happ buttons.
: So if you have an opinion to express, I'd appreciate if you could let me know what it is!
: TIA,
: ChrisW
