I just bought a 25" Zineth with s-video to use in my MAME cabinet that I'm building now. I got it for $239.00. A lot better than the $400.00 I was going to spend on a 19" U3100 from Happ and a lot bigger too. :). It isn't perfect with the small white lettering, but everything else looks great, even Tempest, Ms Pacman, Asteroids, Star Wars, and on and on. You might have to mess with the picture controls to get the best picture, but it does work great. Instead of just throwing the T.V. into the cabinet, in order to make it look more like an arcade monitor, I'm going to remove the frame of the T.V. and use the corner mounts to bolt it to a board that will go in the cabinet and mount the circuit board there too. This way I can use a 25" monitor bezel from Happ so it will look better too.

Game on!! Brian

: TV's and MAME, im trying to decide on a TV or a PC monitior and im looking at pros and cons. TV is bigger, but do i need more then a 19-21 inch screen?
: I like the TV idea becuase of price ( and it can be used for lots of other stuff) but is it blurry? and If you are using a TV, what are you using? TVs in the 25 range all seem to be $190 to $300, and that is pretty cheap ( to me at least), but what should a guy look for? If i could bring it home, hook it up and test it ...it would be easy, but i cant :(
: A PC monitor seems the easist route, but even a cheap used 21 is $300+

: thanks to all who reply..this forum is excellent for Info
