Since you're running Dos 6.22, you have access to the MEMMAKER program.
Just type MEMMAKER [enter] on the command line and it should open up a little program that'll automatically optimize your memory.
Back up your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT before doing so in case things act funky afterwards.
