: I am about to build a cocktail MAME cabinet and I was wondering about monitors. I have seen some posts in the newgroups about the color going "wacky" on a monitor when you rotate it on it's back. Is this a common problem? I have rotated 2 monitors that I have now, and I haven't seen any difference in the color. Maybe I'm just lucky??? Has anyone else had a problem with rotating monitors on their backs?

When the colours go "wacky" it is due to the screen being magnetized, if this happens you
would need to get a degaussing wand and using
a test colour, Red is usually the best and wave
the wand until sceen is total red, then check
out the blue and green colours.
