Only a third of the screen?

I got a problem when I try to run some games on my arcade monitor, one of them is Blazing Star. When I run it only a third of the screen shows. Its on the right.. Looks like this:

I hope you understand and that the ascii-picture looks like it did when I made it ;) , where it's white a part of the game is visible. The "stars" marks where itīs just black. Some games works perfect and some goes like this.. :(
