more 2d systems

CPS3 was a 2d system, as far as I know it only had 2 games released for it, Warzard and ummm, ummm another one.

Anyway, the interesting part was that all the games (all 2 of them) came on CD rather than on ROM chips, when you boot the machine the ENTIRE CONTENTS of the CD gets read into RAM before you can play, its kinda like waiting for win 98 to boot.

The other "recent" 2d system I can think of (recent being 1997 ish) was the super hyper neogeo 64 - im not kidding, thats what they called it.
There was a Fighting model, a driving model and another one that I can't remember. I never saw any of the three to be honest but I'm pretty sure the fighting model was 2d only.
