Yes, that's what I mean by the hack. Make sure that the vsync and hsync wires twisted together go back to the negative composite sync of your monitor. If your monitor has seperate horiz. and vert. syncs you can either run them seperately or twist them and connect only to horizontal (I think. Hey 50/50) On your monitors display board you will most likely see a set of 5 connector, where RG&B are and then 3 above it. Negative Sync is usually on the 3 connector prongs above the 5.
