Windows ME and MAME.. anyone tried this in their cabinets yet?

I was just wondering if anyone has tested MAME or MAME32 in Windows ME. Since ME has eliminated Dos and only runs "DOS emulation" I wondered if there were any problems running MAME. I am thinking of upgrading my computer and cabinet but would like to know how it runs (or if it runs) before I go through all the backup and reinstall work.
