I added the coin door shift function area to the little site of mini arcade circuits. For now it's text outlines with gaps left where I'll put the pictures/electrical details, but I wanted to get the outline of it established before I forget. I'm going to put the wiring diagram for a hard wired shift switch that allows coin slots 1 and 2 to insert coins in keyboard input 1 and 2 when the switch is in one position, or insert coins in inputs 3 and 4 when the switch is in the other position.

I also thought of a glorified electronic automatic switching technique that may be overkill and trying to insert technology where it isn't wanted, but I thought it was interesting so I'm going to write it up.

I thought this type of detail on switching the coin slots would be something a lot of people can make use of because most cabinets, I would say, end up having 2 coin slots, and surely people want to access games that use more than those, so I'm putting the time into it.

My dream cabinet will have a 4-slot over under door, for Gauntlet and Xenophobe primarily...so I probably won't personally get to use these ideas! I think 2-coin doors look 'better' or more authentic on a cabinet though...we'll see.
